Rodenberger Funeral Home is a
full service, independently & family owned
and operated funeral home that has been
serving Henry County for nearly half a
century with continuous, distinctive and
compassionate service. Our reputation for
honesty and fairness and a true concern for
those we serve has been a hallmark of the
Rodenberger name. The families we serve are
our most important assets.
Our entire staff consists of
individuals who care about each and every
family we serve. From the moment the family
contacts our funeral home, every detail is
handled in a professional and very personal
manner. Our families are comforted to know
that the funeral director in charge of
arrangements will be there throughout the
funeral to answer questions and take care of
all their needs. Our staff prides
themselves on offering the highest level of
professionalism.
We offer a wide selection of
services and merchandise to insure that we
can provide an affordable and meaningful
service to all the families that we serve.
We make it a point to explain all the costs
that are involved, even the expenses that
you may incur outside of the funeral home.
That way our families can see what the
entire funeral will cost, not just what they
will spend at the funeral home. We do this
so our families can make the most informed
decisions.
One special feature you will
want to check on this website is our Online
Obituary Page. We post online obituaries, at
no charge, for all of our families. Anyone
in the world who has Internet access can
view the obituary, sign the guest book and
offer condolences. These messages can be
posted on the obituary site or can be
private to the family.
Since 1948, our philosophy
has been to provide personalized and
meaningful services to meet the needs of
each family we are privileged to serve. We
understand each family's wishes are
different, and that is why Rodenberger
Funeral Home offers a variety of options.
Together, with the family, we can create a
service of remembrance as unique as the
individual. Our staff is well versed in the
traditions of all faiths; and will gladly
attend to every detail on your behalf.
As a full service family
owned funeral home, we serve every type of
funeral need, whether it be simple or
complex. Traditional funerals with
visitation the evening before the formal
funeral service, simple graveside services,
direct cremation (with or without
visitation) or formal ceremony, forwarding
the deceased to another out of state
location or arranging to return the deceased
from a distance are some of the examples of
services that can all be provided by
Rodenberger Funeral Home.
The cost of a funeral depends
greatly on the services and merchandise that
are selected by the family. Services
selected by the family would include an item
called the Basic Services of Funeral
Director and Staff. Other services could
include Funeral Home Facilities, Embalming
and Other Preparation of the Deceased,
Transfer of Remains to Funeral
Establishment, Automotive Equipment, and
Cremation Charge. Our charges also may be
comprised of funeral merchandise that may
include Casket, Outside Burial Container,
Urns, Acknowledgement Cards and
Register/Memorial Book.
In addition, there are fees
from other providers that we may assist the
family in identifying and securing. These
charges may include flowers, cemetery
opening and closing, honorarium to clergy,
organist, luncheon, and others, certified
death certificates, and newspaper obituary
charges. The totaling of the various fees
along with funeral home services and
merchandise determines the cost of the
funeral. We itemize all fees on a Statement
of Funeral Goods and Services Purchased and
present a copy to the family at the time of
the arrangement conference, so that all may
be understood.
A full list of the services
offered by Rodenberger Funeral Home is
included in our published "General Price
List". For a current "General Price List",
you may stop by any of our funeral homes
during normal business hours and request a
copy. Of course there is no charge for this
information. |
